Paul Van Slambrouck has been in the fitness industry for about 15 years. As a coach and trainer he has trained high level and elite gymnasts, martial artists, tri-atheletes, competitive body builders and everything in between. Not to say that he isn’t versatile. Paul says his expertise is Health and Wellness. “Training athletes and other people of the sort is a lot of fun. They drive to get results quick. But what’s really gratifying is helping the average Joe or the grandmother across the street, to have better quality of life. To be able to help that person build life changing habits and watch that individual smile more for it. That is why I am so passionate about this business.”
Paul is ACE and ISSA certified. He has had a very successful career as the director of a popular personal training facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Under Paul’s tutelage that facility was ranked top ten in the world two years in a row. Paul has also been involved in the big gym environment with great personal success. Through this experience Paul has come to the conclusion that “The majority of people realize better results in a private, one on one, intimate environment. I want PVSFIT to be that place for people. A place of comfort, solace and a place they know they can go to focus on making themselves a better and healthier person.”
Paul was a competitive gymnast through college as well as on the varsity tennis team. He has also been training and competing in various martial arts his whole life. Paul holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is highly trained in Capoeira, Muay Thai, Arnis and Issun Ryu. “I pride myself on discipline. I feel my training has helped guide me to that. I use that experience everyday to help people stay on track. Consistency is the key, but without dedicated accountability, we as humans will struggle to achieve our goals. The PVSFIT systems were developed with this in mind and designed to guarantee results.”
“I am so excited and feel so grateful to be of the few that have the opportunity to create a place like PVS FIT. This business is my vehicle to help you. Whatever you need. There’s no problem or question that I don’t want to try to tackle for you. If I don’t provide a service that meets your needs on the website, I’ll create one. If nothing else, I can at least point you in the right direction and get you started to a healthier, happier you.”

“I like to consider myself very versatile. I have clients from 9 years old up to 80 years old. Throughout my years I have trained athletes, competitors, ultra runners, and just the everyday person who wants to get in shape. I’ve helped individuals lose hundreds of pounds, taken clients grocery shopping to show them how to properly buy healthy foods, and I’ve also paced a client in the Leadville 100 numerous times, a 100 mile race in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. There’s nothing I wont do for my clients. Helping people however big or small their goals are is what I love doing. The media is so filled with false information and we live in such a microwave society where everyone wants everything now. I do my best to teach people how to meet their goals realistically and properly so that what they are doing is habit changing and living that lifestyle. I pride myself on my self discipline and truly living what I preach. I believe that is what makes a good trainer stand out from the rest. People will hear you, but people will listen and follow you if you live what you preach and I truly try and set a good example to all of my clients and athletes. Especially as a female it is essential to teach other women that being perfect is not realistic but loving what you see and how you feel is.”
